Hand-painted off-the-rack nude illusion bodysuit for Candace Persuasian, Boston drag queen and transgender woman. Working with Candace, I brought her costume idea to life. The garment features big and bold lettering that can be read by an audience far away, as well as hundreds of hand-placed AB crystals on the skin, clear crystals on the trans symbol, jet AB stones on the lettering, and large sew-on AB crystals on the nipples and genital area. While performing, Candace turns around to reveal “Beautiful” on her back, completing the phrase on the front.
